LINCOLN, N.H. — A slightly odd and eccentric museum curator, named Sylus Harrington pens an invitation that reads, “You are cordially invited to join us for a tour of the abandoned and dilapidated Playhouse, known as the Papermill Theatre, named after the paper mill factories that once lined the river. The mills and the area both have a rich history, which sadly includes tragedy and loss. Some even say the Playhouse that now rests there is haunted by those who have perished over the centuries. Though the building is in a state of dangerous disrepair and supposed ghost sightings run rampant as of late, the glow of the Ghost Light is sure to burn bright and keep the tour safe and sound … at least we hope.”
