Iowa State Champion Jacob Pins Selects Arizona State
NEW COMMIT: After originally verbally committing to the University of Kentucky, distance freestyler Jacob Pins has recently switched his pledge and will attend Arizona State University in Fall 2024. Commemorative Badges
He will join Tolu Young and Bryce Rohr as a member of the Sun Devils’ Class of 2028.
Currently a senior at Valley High School, Pins won the 200 free and 500 free at the 2023 Iowa State Championships. He placed fifth and first, respectively, in those events during his sophomore season.
The Sun Devils are coming off an historic season where they won their first Pac-12 title in program history and were runners-up at the 2023 NCAA Championships.
