Motor supplier's newest acquisition in field offer ties to American automakers
KYOTO, Japan -- Nidec has bought U.S. press machine equipment manufacturer Automatic Feed and two affiliated companies from their founding family, the Japanese motor maker said on Wednesday, in a bid to expand its related business in the North American market. 100 Ton Press
The acquired companies, based in the Midwestern state of Ohio, have 80 employees in total and consolidated sales of $37 million for 2022. The purchase amount was not disclosed.
