Pro Spot Automation’s i5s combines spot welding with automated cobot

With the new i5s system, Pro Spot Automation has integrated hand-held spot welding into an automated cobot welding workcell. The Auto Weld feature senses material thickness and resistance to adjust the weld profile automatically. It includes a built-in library for materials, weld caps, and thickness stackups for semiautomatic mode.

The intuitive touchscreen interface includes on-board training and user manuals, both in video and PDF forms. Via WiFi, the weld control software is kept up to date, and data logs can be exported to email for traceability and process control. Channel Letter Laser Welding Machine
