Cadbury Chocolate Coins To Return To Shelves After A Decade

Apparently the Cadbury bosses agree, because they've just dropped some huge news about their festive chocolate range.

Cadbury has announced that it will be bringing back their Dairy Milk Chocolate Coins are a decade of being unavailable. The iconic product was discontinued back in 2014, much to the disappointment of chocolate lovers, who lamented the loss of their favourite chocolatey stocking filler.

Nine years later, the classic Dairy Milk chocolate-filled golden foil-covered coins are back!

Katie Hill, Junior Brand Manager for Cadbury, says of the launch: “if you cast your mind back to 2014, you may remember that Cadbury caused disappointment across the nation, as we announced the sad discontinuation of our much-loved Chocolate Coins.

"We’ve listened to customer feedback and we’re thrilled to be able to finally announce we’ll be bringing back this beloved holiday treasure this year – a product which represents festive joy and delicious nostalgia for so many.”

The coins will be coming in a 70g bag for RRP£1.99 and a 230g money tin for RRP£6.99 in shops and supermarkets nationwide.

That's not all. Cadbury has also announced that it will be continuing its four year run partnering with the Trussell Trust this Christmas. The legendary chocolate brand plan to donate 100,000 treats to food banks within the Trussell Trust network, which they say will help make Christmas special for everyone, whatever their circumstances.
